Author Site

If you're looking for the Will Mayer author site with all the updates on Will's writing, interviews, and other projects in the field, you've come to the right place.

If you're looking for information about Will's past careers as a hula dancer, ne’er-do-well luchador, mediocre artichoke farmer, or opera phantom, you're looking in the wrong place (or at least at the wrong time). You can't believe everything you read in those author bios.

A Pickup Truck Full of Loveseat

An essay about the why Will writes the sort of characters he likes to write ... those being, of course, the painfully introverted types.

Cape

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Get Pulverized by the Rejection Generator:

To go along with his piece of flash fiction, The Stoneslide Corrective also asked Will to supply some new rejections for their pulverizing, heart-smashing machine known simply as "The Rejection Generator." Of course, he could not deny such a request, so, this week, you can find the harshest and most pin-pointedly painful rejections you will [hopefully] ever read. These ought to toughen you up to such an extent that the real rejections will bounce off like NERF darts (the ones without the suction cups, Velcro, or hypodermic needles installed in their tips).
